I have a small clawfoot tub and would like any info I can get on the ID tags on the bottom:
SSM CO 4 1/2
...Who was/is the SSM Company? Location? I assume 4 1/2 is the size of the tub.

...What is the significance of the #9?
Next is something illegable. If you know anything about SSM Co, any ideas what it might be?
