: : : Are there any bathtubs that measure 48 inches or less?
: : : We would really like to replace a shower stall with a
: : : tub no matter how small....I Dunno! Any
: : Suggestions?
: : Well that is a good question, we have not up to this time seen anything or have not heard of anything under 54", I have seen acrylic soaking tubs that are that small and very very deep, you sort of climb in and sit down, the manufacturer is near us and we can check on dimensions and depth if that can help you. Thanks we love questions!

we have a clawfoot with original legs
manufacturer is SSMCo.
date of manufacture is May 9 , 1917
the inner length is 48", outside at top is 54"
the porcelain is in fine shape except on the interior bottom

we are located in Maine
just discovered this web site, so pardon the late reply
