: We have just purchased a gooseneck faucet for our clawfoot tub. It has a diverter so we can add a shower to it. But we do not want the exterior plumbing look for the shower. So we would like to find some kind of brass finish plubing to go directly into the wall from the deverter. Then piped inside the wall to the shower head that will over hang the tub. Is this possable? And any suggestions on where to get matching brass to link it over to the wall. (FYI. are walls are down so we can do anything we want with the plumbing.)

If you can find a threaded pipe that fits the threads on the goose neck you can have it bent at a 90 angle, all pipes can be bent but i would not use galvanized for a bending project that small, but then agian i have bent galvanized like that before so what matters is pipe thread match then find a plating company, copper is used first by some plating companies before they put on Brass plating. Also we have a company that can bend show room brass piping to your specifications, but unless it is one of their faucets you will not be able to assure yourself you will have a thread match. There also are brass fittings that are used to come out of the wall to your shower heads, but i don't think you will find a thread match. Rememeber: 3 things, Thread match, find Brass pipe or plate, then have it bent(before plating please). Plumbing shops do bending and may have a thread match too. Try a few and see.
